PRIMARY PURPOSE: This position is responsible for the management of
business projects & new product launches for fresh salads and vegetables. The
project management role is to plan, execute and finalize business projects
according to objectives, deadlines and within budget. Will also have
direct business department duties and responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following and other
duties may be assigned as needed.

Manage and execute launch
initiatives including new products, re-designs, new processes,
marketing programs.

Manage, execute and support business
projects and needs including quality and process improvements,
customer specific requests, industry, market and consumer
research, data analysis and recommendations.

Direct and manage project
development from beginning to end. Coordinating areas to include
raw product, growing, manufacturing, packaging, supply
management, finance, customer service, marketing, sales.

Define project scope, goals and
deliverables that support the business goals in collaboration
with business leader and stakeholders.

Define project tasks and resource
requirements. Identify, assemble, direct and support team
members. Delegate appropriate tasks and responsibilities to team
members or department leads. As a lean company, expected to step
in to fill gaps and DIY as needed. Will frequently have the
additional responsibility as the “business team member”.

Develop project plans and associated
communications documents. Effectively communicate project
expectations, critical path and progress on deliverables to team
members and stakeholders. Organize and execute meetings & other
communications.

Proactively manage changes in
project scope, identify potential barriers or crises and devise
contingency plans. Track deliverable and consistently monitor
progress.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
No direct reports, but will supervise work done by any agencies or
part-time help engaged to execute account specific marketing
programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Individuals must possess these knowledge, skills and abilities or be
able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the
essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable
accommodations, using some other combination of skill abilities.
Education: BA/BS in Business Administration, Marketing,
Communications or similar disciplines. Minimum three (3) years
business management, product development and project management
related experience or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
Experience: Work experience in project management, business
management, product development, finance and marketing as related to
the essential duties and responsibilities described above.
Preference: Experience in the U.S. retail marketplace – preferably
with a small or fresh, perishable food company.

Must be a self-starter with
experience working independently and in team-oriented,
collaborative environment. Demonstrated experience of managing
indirect reports.

Strong written and oral
communication skills. Strong interpersonal, customer service and
consumer communication skills.

Adept at conducting research into
project-related issues, products, markets and consumer targets.
Experience with product and account PnL’s, sales and trend data.

Proficient in Microsoft programs
including Excel, Project, Word and Power Point. Solid working
knowledge of database systems, current internet technolodies,
project management and communication software. Experience or
ability to learn other programs such as IRI or Nielson and those
specific to our industry and company.
Strong analytical skills with ability to pull key learnings from
data and analyses.

administrative skills with a penchant for details. Can conform
to shifting priorities, demands and timelines while using
efficient analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Thrives,
yet remains focused and effective, in a fast-paced,
multi-tasking environment.

Current Passport for travel outside the continental United States
