PRIMARY PURPOSE: This position is responsible for the execution of
account specific marketing programs for fresh salads and vegetables. Additional
responsibilities will include management of consumer relations and interactions
for products, helping to drive the company’s presence and voice in social media.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following and other
duties may be assigned as needed.

Develop, manage and execute up to 10
retail grocery, account specific marketing programs working with
our assigned sales manager and the account’s representatives.

Assess and report on effectiveness
of account specific marketing programs. Assess the changing
needs and environment of our company, the market and accounts.
Recommend, gain alignment and quickly adapt marketing programs
accordingly.

Respond to ad-hoc requests for
marketing support; including, but not limited to, development of
retail ads, POS, web-based sweepstakes, e-blasts and executing
food demos or product IRC programs.

Become an advocate of the company's
brand internally and externally, communicating programs and
activities, fostering enthusiasm, ensuring consistency in voice
across all spaces and activities.

Manage, mine, segment and update
consumer contact database through website opt-ins and Constant
Contact. Develop, execute and track e-blasts for account
specific, regional and national programs.

Measure and report marketing
activities against budget, consumer response and company/account
objectives. Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the
impact of online and social media programs. Re-apply programs
and research best practices and new techniques/tools.

Manage online and social media
branding, campaigns and day-to-day activities. Duties include
online advocacy, writing editorial, community-outreach efforts,
promotions, etc. Manage presence in social networking sites like
Facebook and other similar community sites, posting on relevant
spaces and seeding content.

Manage calendars for social media,
digital and account specific programs and activities. Build and
distribute dashboards and reports on social media/digital
performance for brands. Organize and coordinate all marketing
assets – digital and physical.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
No direct reports, but will supervise work done by any agencies or
part-time help engaged to execute account specific marketing
programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Individuals must possess these knowledge, skills and abilities or be
able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the
essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable
accommodations, using some other combination of skill abilities.
Education: BA/BS in Business Administration, Marketing,
Communications, Journalism or similar disciplines. Minimum three (3)
years writing and marketing related experience and/or training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Work experience in business management, marketing, sales
planning, design and/or communications as related to the essential
duties and responsibilities described above.
Preference: Experience in the U.S. retail marketplace – preferably
with a fresh, perishable food company. Writing experience.

Must be a self-starter who can work
independently, solve problems creatively and take action. Is
personable, professional and confident working with vendors,
account contacts and employees in other departments.
Demonstrated experience in working in a lean environment –
influencing and managing indirect reports, stepping in to fill
gaps and DIY where needed.

Excellent writing skills to ensure
interesting, accurate, grammatically correct public-facing
communications. An ideal candidate will have experience writing
marketing copy, creating a story, and relevant prior work to
share.

Knowledge of Microsoft programs
including Excel, Word and Power Point as well as experience or
ability to learn other programs or social media management
platforms like Google Analytics, WildFire and Constant Contact.
Knowledge of design programs like Illustrator or Photoshop a
plus.

Proven internet research abilities.
Strong analytical skills with ability to pull key learnings from
data and analyses. Knowledge of social media channels/platforms
and other digital space. Traditional consumer research
experience a plus.

Strong organizational and
administrative skills with a penchant for details. Ability to be
flexible and adapt, yet remain effective, in a fast-paced,
multi-tasking environment.

Current Passport for travel outside the continental United States
