Our Company is a distributor of fresh fruits and vegetables in the Southwestern
U.S. We have operated in our current markets for over 25 years and are a
growing, dynamic supplier to the retail, food service, government and
institutional industries in our market territory.
The Company currently has an expansion opportunity for the right individual in
Albuquerque, New Mexico to join our executive management team.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for managing the entire Albuquerque, New Mexico operation,
including marketing and sales, receiving, transportation and delivery, warehouse
management and general operations;
• Directly responsible for the planning, organization and execution of our sales
efforts in the Albuquerque area including the expansion of our customer base and
increasing sales by cultivating and managing profitable customers;
• Reports directly to the President of the Company and is accountable for the
financial performance of the operation as a part of the strategic goals of the
Company
• Provides leadership to the day to day operation of the Albuquerque location
and coaches and develops employees to improve performance, morale and motivation
Qualifications:
• Superior knowledge of the Produce industry, including at least 10 years of
increasingly responsible sales or general management positions in the industry
• Strong industry contacts in the retail and food service industries
• Superior sales and communications skills
• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, marketing or sales or related
fields preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• Strong background in distribution center practices and procedures
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
