This growing young company is a grower shipper of produce to big box retailers
nationwide and seeks an accountant with an entrepreneurial spirit to assist with
the growth.
Job Description:
- Calculate grower settlements in a timely and effective manner.
- Planning and implementation of payables and receivables.
- Reconciliation of accounts and tracking of shipments.
- Generation of monthly income statement by class.
- Review accounting systems, policies and procedures.
- Monthly reporting
- Must be flexible and able to multitask regularly
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in grower's accounting
and administrative control.
- Quickbooks, excel, general computer platform proficiency.
- Practical experience in grower's accounting
preferred.
- Some Spanish a plus.
