Well established food service/wholesale distributor is seeking a Sales Manager for its operation in Seattle, WA.  The sales manager will be responsible for managing the sales operations of a fresh produce food service distributor.  Maintains existing customer relationships and develops new customers and territory/markets.  Organizes and implements the short-term daily activities in order to achieve an orderly sales, marketing and distribution process.  Instills and promotes a customer service oriented approach to sales department.  Ability to be adaptable and flexible in a fast paced, results-oriented environment.  Must be a hands on sales manager who leads by example. 

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of three years managing a fresh food sales force, preferably selling fresh fruit and vegetables.

• Excellent verbal communication skills with a proven track record of building successful, professional relationships.

• Proven ability to work independently, organizing and executing work schedules efficiently and effectively.

• Strong written skills and experience in presentations and briefings.

• Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word, and Outlook.

• Exceptional organizational skills with demonstrated success implementing projects or programs.
