Position: Sales and Marketing at Farm Fuel Inc.
Location: Base in Watsonville, CA
Promote sales and services through advertising and marketing materials, attending trade shows. Develop relationships with new and current distributors. Promote direct sales to clients, manage freight logistics, invoicing for clients of all sizes (garden to commerical ag), some online sales. Reports to CEO and team members regarding sales and projections. Some regulatory work required. Will include work with growers in USA, Canada, and Mexico.
Must have excellent communication and organization skills. Basic knowledge of MS Office, Google Drive, Email systems. Some travel required. Must have own reliable transportation. Must have 5 years of experience working within agriculture. Prefer 5 years sales experience. Working knowledge of soil health and current agricultural practices, a good sense of humor, and an interest in sustainable agriculture preferred. Could be excellent addition to portfolio of independent PCA or CCA.
Compensation: Part-time base salary plus commission, depending on experience, 20 hours per week to start.
