Job Summary:
Employee will work performing various duties witch include but are
not limited to the following: Grower relations and communication,
coordinate harvest and hauling of fruit, crop estimates,
communication with packing house, reporting fruit quality, fruit
testing.
Job Responsibilities:

Perform all duties
in a safe and professional manner.

Grower Relations:
must communicate with all growers, updating them on crop quality
and harvest plan.

Effectively
communicate with packing house on all field related issues.
(fruit quality, volume of fruit, grower issues, etc.)

Fill out field
evaluation logs (document grower issues, fruit issues, excel
spreadsheets)
-
Know fruit
varieties, sizes, quality and communicate with packing house.
Input into spreadsheets in timely manner.

Must know how to
work with Excel, Word, Acess, e-mail, etc…
-
Securing new quality
growers on an ongoing basis.
-
Must be punctual and
maintain absence to a minimal.

Routinely fill out
Pre-Harvest block inspections.

Consistently update
Comparative picking list (100%, estimate changes)

Work with farm labor
contractors (harvesting, negotiating price, picking quality, and
harvesting correct ranch/block).

Bin management.
Knowing where empty bins are and utilizing them.

Must be able to work
with a team or alone as necessary.

Must be willing to
travel with several night stay overs.

While operating a
company vehicle a “hands free” phone device must be used in
accordance with the law.

Must have a valid
driver’s license and a clean driving record to operate company
vehicles on public roads.

Hours in field vary,
must be willing to put the time necessary to get job completed.

Ability to work
effectively with supervisor as well as fellow employees.

Must be willing to
work in all areas of our Farm / Field operations and follow
instructions given by the supervisor in charge of the area.

Must be willing to
accept any assigned duty even when it is not related to primary
duties.
Job Qualifications:
Bee Sweet Citrus is searching for a highly motivated individual able
to work independently in a fast paced environment. Candidates must
be very organized and able to plan efficiently plan their daily
work. Candidates should have an agricultural background and/or Ag
degree (preferred). Computer experience that includes Excel, Word
and Access is essential. Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred but not
mandatory.
