A fourth generation vegetable and berry farming operation is seeking
an accounts payable professional with cost accounting experience.
The company farms approximately 2,000 acres with administrative
offices currently located in Castroville, CA. The office will be
relocated to South Salinas in the summer of 2013. The successful
candidate will have agricultural experience, preferably with row
crops or berries, be a self starter and have strong organizational
skills.
Responsibilities Include:

Accounts payable
lot allocations and data entry
-
Preparation of
periodic and year end growing cost reports
-
Allocation of
intercompany charges
Job Requirements Include:
-
Progressive
experience in accounts payable or cost accounting in an
agricultural setting
-
Solid work history
with an emphasis on longevity

Knowledge of Famous
software desired
-
Strong Excel,
Access and Word skills required
-
Bilingual in
Spanish/English a plus, but not required
