We are a produce brokerage office that operates as a West Coast buying office for our established customers. We seek an individual that will work well in a fast paced and demanding environment.  Our customers expect us to handle all of their west coast buying and transportation needs.  We strive for perfection!  Our customer base expects satisfaction and have all been long term established customers! This is a tremendous opportunity to work with a superior established customer base.

Functions include, but not limited to:

• Identify premium produce suppliers

• Seek new and interesting items

• Responsible for sourcing quality produce

• Manage promotional opportunities and “spot buys”

• Manage logistics, trucking and transportation requirements

• Follow market trends and be able to react quickly to changing markets

• Visit customers and suppliers and be able to manage those relationships

• Anything else that has not been listed that is essential to premium customer service!

Position Requirements:

• The person applying for this position must be a self starter and hard working.

• Candidate should posses a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience

• 5 or greater years of produce related experience

• Candidate will have strong negotiation skills

• Must be able to handle details, meet deadlines and be on task

• Some overnight travel will be required
