Southern Specialties was founded in 1990 by Robert Colescott.  Robert was an associate in the Pompano Beach, Florida company responsible for pioneering specialty fruits and vegetables from Central America.  Upon his employer's retirement, Robert started his own company.  Today, Southern Specialties is involved in growing, importing, processing, and marketing a wide range of fruits and vegetables from the United States, Central America, South America, Mexico and Canada.  We maintain offices in Pompano Beach Florida, Atlanta, Georgia, Buena Park California, McAllen Texas, Chile, Peru and Mexico.
