Payroll Specialist

Position Summary: The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing timely and accurate weekly payrolls to benefit our employees, and our client’s business. Candidate must be detail oriented, highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced work environment, appear to work on time, follow directions, and interface with multiple department supervisors and coworkers.


  • Accurate and timely processing of piece rate and hourly harvesting crews
  • Review timesheets for attendance, hours worked, sick time and pay adjustments
  • Maintain and print weekly crew timesheets
  • Process weekly paychecks to be distributed by crews
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations
  • Process weekly invoicing reports
  • Assist employees, supervisors, and customers with payroll questions.
  • Other duties may be assigned


  • Proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Experience with payroll software such as Famous, Pet Tiger, and Pago a plus
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience in payroll processing


  • Monday thru Friday 8 hour shift
