Job description

Mission Ranches Company, LLC is seeking an Office Assistant/Receptionist to provide support to the general operations of the Human Resources Department. The Office Assistant will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to employees, visitors, and other guests of the organization.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Greets employees, visitors, and guests; determine the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location.
  • Answer, screen, and direct phone calls to staff.
  • Provide Human Resource office assistance, support and information to employees, visitors and guest.
  • Receive mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and deliver or distribute items.
  • Assist with the management and maintenance of departmental materials, documents and reports.
  • Respect the privacy of employees and employment records
  • Perform basic filing.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Education and Experience: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
