We help our clients comply and compete in the highly regulated and rapidly evolving agricultural labor market. The Equipment & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring our field crews are equipped with the tools and resources they need to serve our customers. Among other duties, the Equipment & Logistics Coordinator will lead our field technology deployment and manage company equipment and vehicles. This position reports to the General Manager.

Position Summary

The Equipment & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring our field crews are equipped with the tools and resources they need to serve our customers. Among other duties, the Equipment & Logistics Coordinator will lead our field technology deployment and manage company equipment and vehicles. This position reports to the General Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage company equipment, vehicles, tools, and other assets including maintenance, scheduling and assignment, vehicle and equipment registration and licensing, inventory control, logbooks, vehicle and equipment safety inspections, storage locations, security and other. Ensure equipment protocols are current, incorporated into training and followed. Ensure vehicles and equipment are prepared and located to support efficient operations.
  • Interact in person and in writing with contractors, vendors, consultants, regulators, and clients.
  • Work closely with Management in finance control and cost savings initiatives
  • Operate independently and professionally in remote settings with limited direct supervision.
  • Enforce company rules, policies, and procedures in accordance with state, federal, and local laws.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as determined by crop conditions and client requirements.
  • Ability to read and understand written instructions from clients, regulators, or management.
  • Ability to use a computer, tablet, and smartphone for multiple purposes including time keeping, record keeping, reporting, and communications.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain US DOL Farm Labor Contractor Employee license (FLCe) with Driver Authorization.
  • Must be fluent in Spanish and be able to read and speak, write.
  • English at an advanced level.
  • Must have Class A or Class B CDL with passenger endorsement to drive full size buses with GVW of 30,000 lbs. or ability to acquire such license.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent/GED preferred but not required
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in logistics management, team leadership, technology systems management or other fields related to responsibilities and duties.
  • Technical knowledge and communication skills to manage job duties described above.
  • Proficiency in the setup, operation, and basic maintenance of agricultural equipment.
