Job description

Electrician

  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
      • This position provides projects controls support to all areas of the plant facilities. Assists in identifying, evaluating and selecting the Automation hardware and software necessary to meet current and future production requirements. Assists in managing the controls and automation interfere, testing, quality control, data retrieval, and training for all packaging and processing equipment, but not limited too. Determines the effectiveness and maintainability of new automation systems and manages the automation change process for existing equipment. Supports and promotes food safety and quality program indicatives with in the plant environment.

    • EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
      • Associates Degree or Master Electricians Certification
      • Two years or more experience in facilities and Maintenance Management repair within a produce processing plant or related manufacturer
      • Five or more years as an electrician in a produce processing plant

    Water Technician

    • ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
      • Have working knowledge of basic protective equipment requirements as they apply to maintenance personnel.
      • Proficient in equipment Lock-Out/Tag-Out requirements.
      • Working knowledge of OSHA, FDA and GMP requirements as they pertain to maintenance activities at a food processing facility.
      • Be able to repair pneumatic control systems.
      • Have knowledge of liquid pumping principles and able to read pump flow curves.
      • Be able to rebuild liquid feed pumps such as centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.
      • Proficient in ammonia refrigeration principles and operation.
      • Knowledge of reading piping diagrams and identify the function of various components for air and water distribution systems.
      • Must have knowledge of Sodium Hypochlorite (Chlorine) and PH buffer (Citric Acid) Injection systems
      • Must be able to replace automated equipment mechanical components.
      • Be proficient in the use of standard hand tools such as wrenches, hammers, bearing pullers etc.
      • Working knowledge of electrical testing equipment such as multimeter, megger, etc.
    • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
      • Required: 1 year or more experience working with cooling systems within a produce processing plant or related manufacturer.

    Forklift Mechanic

    • ESSENTIAL DUTIES
      • Inspect, service, and repair forklifts
      • Disassemble, overhaul, repair and reassemble engine, transmission, differential, clutch, brake, electrical system, fuel system, and any other part related to material handling equipment
      • Perform scheduled equipment service ranging from minor to major service
      • Use all tools of the trade, including precision instruments, welding equipment, shop machines, overhead hoists and power tools in making adjustments and repairs
      • Complete accurately all required internal paperwork, including work orders, and safety inspections
      • Ensure company equipment and tools comply with safety and cleanliness standards
      • Demonstrate exceptional communication and customer service skills
    • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

      • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
      • Mechanical Knowledge: 2 years (Preferred)
      • Relevant experience desired
      • Basic computer skills

    Maintenace Supervisor

    • ESSENTIAL DUTIES
      • Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the maintenance, repair and replacement of all plant equipment, systems, and facilities, including but not limited to refrigeration, electrical, pneumatic, packaging equipment. Maintenance Supervisor will participate in the Continual Improvement Program in long and short term efforts to maximize product quality and increase production of products manufactured in the plant. These efforts including design and project management and any other task assigned.

    • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

      • Associates degree or Trade School certification in Maintenance related field (Required)
      • 2 years or more supervisory experience in facilities and Maintenance Management Repair within a produce processing plant or related manufacturer (Required)
      • 5 or more years as a supervisor in a produce processing plant (Preferred)

    Facility Lead

    • ESSENTIAL DUTIES
      • Facilities Lead is responsible for the maintenance, repair and replacement of all plant equipment, systems, and facilities, including but not limited to refrigeration, electrical, pneumatic, packaging equipment. During the offseason, they will oversee a small crew of employees that will revitalize the facility both ascetically and mechanically.
    • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
      • Required: 5 years or more experience in a maintenance supervisory position within a produce processing plant or related manufacturer.
