Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Hire, manage, supervise and direct RAMCO personnel.

  • Support office and field staff in recruiting, screening, and placing qualified candidates in open positions.
  • Ensure all new-hire paperwork is completed on time including health insurance enrollments.
  • Ensure all re-hired employees are enrolled on company’s biometric time clocks before they start employment.
  • While working closely with RAMCO payroll personnel, ensure attendance and labor reports originating from each crew are accurate and submitted timely to customers.
  • Interact with customers’ designated operations managers/supervisors to plan for current and anticipated labor needs.
  • Ensure that all production and quality standards are clearly understood and met by appropriate RAMCO personnel.
  • Ensure that employees are trained prior to starting work, conducting/coordinating necessary orientations and periodic safety meetings.
  • Work with the RAMCO safety and compliance personnel to ensure the safety of each employee and that safety policies and procedures are observed.
  • Ensure the Food Safety Practices are understood and followed, performing trainings as necessary.
  • With the support of RAMCO HR Manager, effectively and promptly deal with all personnel issues, including accident/incident investigations, conflicts resolution, disciplinary action, and terminations.


  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of general industrial safety and food safety requirements.
  • Basic knowledge of human resources management policies and procedures.
  • Excellent judgment, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have ability to effectively communicate with employees, management and customers to proactively identify business issues and develop/implement constructive solutions.
  • Use sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Working knowledge of computer terminals and Microsoft Office products;
