Job Description: The Dealer Account Manager is responsible for developing sales and achieve the product development in the West Coast and BC Canada area independently and through the dealer network.  Responsible to report trial results, market situation, and evolution.  The job requires some national and international traveling.  This position reports to the Sales Manager.

Primary Functions: 


  • Consolidate and propose sales and accurate production forecast to the Sales Manager.
  • Maintain accurate forecast monthly in ERP System.
  • Monthly reporting on forecast vs. sales variances.
  • Manage expense and sales budget.
  • Propose and implement pricing strategy for the region.
  • Propose and implement distribution strategies.
  • Daily contact with customer service.
  • Complete sales targets and goals.

Product Development and Research & Development

  • Development trials with Customers: market needs, samples, visit trials, observation, discussion with dealers and reporting to Sales Manager and Product Development Manager.
  • Development trials with processing companies directly: organizing, planting, and evaluating development material with grower representative.
  • Teamwork with Product Development Manager and Research Team for pre-development stages.
  • Travel to various University Trials throughout the United States and Canada.


  • Compile market information.
  • Sponsor and attend trade shows.
  • Participate in New Product Introduction meetings as requested.
  • Communication with the marketing department, make proposals for product communications and advertisement: brochures, branding, packaging, etc.


  • S. in Agronomical engineering or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years sales management in the seed industry.
  • Experience with ERP system.
  • Proficient in the English language
  • Advance Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Internet, Outlook).
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
