We have a new opportunity for a qualified, talented, and hard-working individual to be a part of our accounting team.  As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the company’s fiscal and financial accounting functions, working under the managerial staff to ensure all transactions and other business activities are recorded, verified and entered correctly.  You will also establish and maintain US GAAP policies and procedures, facilitate internal and external audits, ensure the integrity of the accounting systems and processes, and provide financial analysis and reporting as required. 

Responsibilities & Duties: 

  • Create, implement and maintain financial policies and procedures that conform to GAAP and all regulatory requirements.
  • Create and maintain a period-end closing process
  • Quarterly compilation and presentation of Financial Statements
  • Prepare and conduct a quarterly financial meeting with Senior Management to update them on the financial position of all companies
  • Work with management to establish and maintain Internal Controls
  • Maintain and control the Chart of Accounts across all companies
  • Manage the integrity of Accounting Software Systems & Processes
  • Research & resolution of accounting issues
  • Report on operational & financial key performance indicators
  • Review reports for variances and trends
  • Closely coordinate and partner with AR, AP, and Grower Accounting to ensure excellence in accounting processes and procedures
  • Facilitate a year-end accounting review process across all three companies
  • Oversee and improve upon current budgeting process;
  • Advise company on technical accounting issues and compliance
  • Research & reconcile discrepancies, audit and verify documents
  • Establish & manage company filing & record keeping system (virtual & physical)
  • Reconciliation of Bank Accounts, Credit Lines, & Loan Payments
  • Work closely with management and growing partners to ensure financial accuracy across all growing deals
  • Oversee Journal Entries (Standard, Recurring, & Adjusting)
  • Audit administrative and operational accounting processes and implement improvements.


  • Reports to General Manager
  • External party interaction with regulatory agencies, accounting firms, Banks and & Insurance Companies, etc.
  • Internal interaction with management, sales & administration, operations, and compliance teams.


  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Current knowledge of US GAAP requirements
  • Knowledge and experience with agriculture and grower accounting


  • Expert level Excel knowledge
  • Strong technical accounting and mathematical ability
  • Full Spanish-English Biliteracy preferred
  • Strong reasoning/problem solving ability
  • Extensive Famous Accounting Systems Experience
  • Ability to focus amidst shifting priorities
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels, from Owners to Junior Staffers
