What we are looking for - Sanitation Specialists is searching for a self-driven Sanitation Supervisor to oversee one of our valued customer sites in Boston, Massachusetts. This Sanitation Supervisor holds ultimate accountability for ensuring completion of the Sanitation process within the allotted timeframe, while also supervising our Sanitation Technicians, providing training, and enforcing safety protocols. This individual will also be required to work alongside FDA, USDA, and Quality Assurance teams who inspect the facility daily. The Sanitation Supervisor is the primary leadership representative tasked with providing daily updates about any events happening within the facility. This role requires strong leadership skills, an eye for detail, and eagerness to be attentive to our customer. Interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop and nurture positive work relationships, will be highly sought after in the most qualified candidate. The Sanitation Supervisor will report directly to the Sanitation Area Manager. Primary Duties Engage in consistent communication with Customer's Leadership, Sanitation Area Manager, and Human Resources, (in-person/email/phone) as needed. Drafting and finalizing schedules (staff schedules, sanitation schedules) Accountable for performing Sanitation operations within budget constraints. Monitoring all necessary inventory, ordering when appropriate (Chemicals, supplies, PPE, etc.) Submitting all documentation within given deadlines (Sanitation Logs, Employee Action Forms, Timekeeping documents, Injury reports, etc.) Participation in the interviewing and hiring process of employees at the designated facility. Observing and supervising employees' behavior, providing coaching, training, and discipline when necessary. Providing recommendations for, and issuing, disciplinary actions for Sanitors and Leads. Observing training and safety deficiencies, suggesting solutions, and being proactive. Upholding Ameri-Kleen company policies, and company values.
